Summer 2008 dates to be announced

A Summer camp that breeds confidence, and stimulates the mind. Learn tricks too !!! If you have a little Wizard or a student with an interest in the art of performance Magic ..… we have an exciting, & fun filled action packed program that keeps the mind sharp over the Summer months !!!

There will be 5 sessions.   To get the most out of camp It is suggested that beginners attend sessions 1 and 2 ending with a show that all campers participate in at the end of session 2, and the more experienced attend sessions 3 and 4 ending with a show at the end of session 4.   All campers are encouraged to attend session 5 (Performance week), which will be offered at nearly half price, where all of the things they have learned are put into action along with some additional real world experiences. Session 1 Beginners

July-TBA

This first week is for those who have had little or no professional training. We will focus on the basic skills that you must have in order to perform classical magic with basic principles of sleight-of -hand choreographed timing and misdirection.                                

Session 2 Beginners

August- TBA

Must have attended session 1

We take the skills from week 1 and add theatrics, creativity, and showmanship. By the end of the week, each student will participate in a show for family & friends.

Session 3 Advanced

Must be a former camper or be approved

Time to kick it up a notch. In this session we will learn advanced techniques and skills. We will also study advanced additions to the skills we already have.

Session 4 Advanced

Must have attended session 3

In this session, we will study advanced theatrics, posture, poise, and facial expressions. Fine tuning turns amateurs into pros. By the end of the week, we will have another show for family & friends.

Everything comes together nicely in this final week of camp

Beginners & Advanced students will work together with a common goal. Campers will use all resources to add skills and achievements to the collective pool. They will have an opportunity to experience an audition, help to write and produce a show, promote and sell tickets, and perform in the final product called THE BIG SHOW !!
